Instead of a big Bollywood bash, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan preferred a quieter birthday with just her close friends and family members on November 1. The diva who turned 43 didn’t hold a media briefing and preferred to stay away from cameras on her special day.
The “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil” star celebrated her birthday at home with husband Abhishek Bachchan, father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan. Aishwarya’s sister-in-law Naina Bachchan along with husband Kunal Kapoor also attend the bash.
The picture shows Aishwarya moments before she cut her multiple cakes. She has Aaradhya on her lap with a few other children surrounding her. Abhishek is standing behind her flanked by their friends.
It was an intimate get-together of family and close friends as Goldie Behl and his wife Sonali Bendre turned up to wish the birthday girl.
Sikander Kher, Shrishti Arya, Manish Malhotra, Rohan Sippy, designer duo Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla, were also spotted.
Earlier, the Bachchans held a star-studded Diwali bash which had everyone from the industry present. Maybe after the big bash, Aish and Abhishek wanted to go low-key for her birthday.
Amitabh Bachchan was seen in a jazzy jacket as he reached for daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s birthday party.
Kunal Kapoor and wife Naina Bachchan also attend the bash.
Sikander Kher-Abhishek Bachchan share a great rapport. The two have also done a film together, “Dus Kahaniyaan”.
Ace designer Manish Malhotra was also spotted at Aish’s private dinner party.
Abhishek’s long-standing friends Bunty Walia and his wife too made it to the guest list.

Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan were seen being gracious hosts as they escorted every guest up to their car. It was earlier reported that Aishwarya was planning in intimate dinner to celebrate her special day.
The actress is riding high on the success of Karan Johar’s “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil”, which has already been deemed a success. This is the first hit that Aishwarya has delivered ever since she made her comeback. Her sizzling avatar in the film has come in for a lot of praise.
